These are interesting times. The COVID-19 pandemic—which claimed millions of lives across the world and upset global economies—is hopefully entering its final stages. The last couple of years have been eventful for all of us.
Personally, we at Philpac dealt with our own adversity through the loss of our founder, Bruce Phillips who passed away in early 2020. It’s never easy to say goodbye to someone as beloved as Bruce. Thankfully, he had the foresight to begin transitioning the company to his children. Today, Philpac is a stronger and more resilient company than ever. We transformed our leadership team under the guidance of Bruce’s son, David.
Unlike many companies, we did not make any staff cutbacks during the COVID crisis. In fact, Philpac expanded its employee base, increased pay rates, and enhanced benefit offerings for our loyal teammates. We purchased new equipment, made facilities upgrades, and invested in staff training.
We’ve also redesigned our Philpac website, just in time to celebrate our 40th year in business. With its streamlined look, the new site shows you the many ways Philpac can assist you. In addition to our
products and services overviews, we’ll also have pages dedicated to employment opportunities, and to suppliers who wish to partner with Philpac. We’ll update the website regularly, especially the News page.
We will use the News page to share updates about Philpac and the great things we do for our customers, but also to post informative content from local industry insiders: people who can give you the
scoop on the state of the market as well as some invaluable insights.

anniversary. We think it tells our story well and would have made Bruce proud. He was very passionate about this business and about serving our customers. That’s why he coined our company tagline: “serving all your packaging needs.” It exemplifies who we were in the beginning and who we’ll continue to be under David’s direction.
Thank you for trusting us as your partner in packaging. We know we must live up to the high standards that Bruce set for us. That won’t always be easy—anything worth doing rarely is—but we know if we keep moving in a direction that would make him proud, everything will be alright.
