Maintenance Technician – Pendleton

Philpac has been a leader in the packaging industry for over 40 years, fulfilling all your packaging needs. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Lockport, NY location.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the optimal operating condition of the company’s production equipment through regular preventative maintenance and necessary repairs.

In addition to equipment maintenance, the selected candidate may perform various facility maintenance tasks, including painting, landscaping, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Ensuring the proper functioning of the mechanical systems on-site will also be part of the job.

Furthermore, the candidate may be asked by management to assist in other areas of the facility, which could include operating saws to cut wood according to order specifications and fastening wood pieces together using nail guns.

Skills Required:

– Proven experience as a maintenance technician

– Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems

– Knowledge of general industrial equipment, preventative maintenance processes, and methods

– Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills

– Good physical condition and strength

– High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a related field, will be a plus

Schedule:

-Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

-Work Location: In person

-Job Type: Full-time

-Pay: $24.00 per hour

Experience:

-Industrial Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

-Driver’s License (Required)
