Philpac is currently seeking a full-time Production Supervisor based in Kenmore, NY, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. As the Production Supervisor, here are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:
- Supervising the employees and delegating work orders for completion as scheduled
- Inspect the quality of finished product
- Monitor inventory and materials used daily
- Work closely with management to maintain on time deliveries and work order scheduling
In addition, the Production Supervisor will support the team by assisting with the work during vacations or periods of heavy order activity.
Prior experience in corrugated, foam assembly, and/or crate & pallet building is preferred.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred 3-5 years prior woodworking experience
- A minimum of one year’s experience operating a forklift
Skills/Abilities/Physical demands
- The candidate must be reliable and dependable
- An understanding of how to use a tape measure as well as the ability to read it
- A basic understanding of mathematics is required
- Requires the use of hands & arms frequently
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Frequent requirement for standing, sitting, walking, kneeling and crouching
- Climbing stairs and ladders occasionally required
